Iowa Peak Oil shall gather information and promote awareness of peak oil production and the impact on industrial society, gather resources and promote awareness of traditional and alternative approaches to low energy lifestyles, including but not limited to:  food and fiber production and preparation; the construction and use of traditional and non-electric tools; alternative construction, traditional husbandry and agricultural techniques; traditional and alternative sources of energy; acquiring resources for educational purposes, research, and testing; and to provide educational and material assistance to individuals in developing these skills.
