Pork
and Apples (Denmark)

lb bacon
2 lbs apples - cut into eights, unpeeled (mixed green and red is nice)
1/4 cup of apple juice concentrate or
honey
Fry the bacon, pouring off the fat periodically (this makes it crisper). Remove the cooked bacon, and fry the
apples in a little of the grease until they are a little soft, but not mushy. Add the cooked bacon and the honey or
apple juice, and stir until it's well mixed.
